Gearing up from Australia

Hey, I know I know I've been rather busy over the last 2 days gearing up for my trip to Australia which is finally happening this evening. I am rather excited about the whole thing. My flight tonight is around 11pm so I've got quite a few things to do from now till then. For the last 2 days I've been running around town and certain places grabbing things that I would know that I would need for the trip that I could get here and would not be able to find there.

I am a bit sad to leave at the same time because I would love to take time to spend with my friends who I don't get to see much which I generally would not have time to see anyway but you know being in Singapore amongst them is always nice.

My flight it leaving around 11pm this evening and I still have not finished packing my things as of yet. I have not told Dale that I am leaving to make issues worse. I am rather stressed out by the whole thing but I hope that when I do eventually go home it all works out for me and I don't get to stressed out by it all. 

The weather has been quite bad because it has been raining here today unfortunately and I don't like it when it rains as much as it had. I am feeling sad about having to leave the staff in the ballroom for like about three weeks but knowing that I will not seen them for such a long time I am not to sure what I would do. I am worried.

I cannot wait to go back home and finish packing of my things which hopefully get ready to head to the airport. Yayyy!

Bah, I think I am becoming speechless... 

My Day & Movida...

Woooah, it has been quite a while since I partied like I had last night. I went to Movida with some dancing friends of mine to celebrate Rosa's Birthday and it was a awesome night. There was a whole bunch of us there and the crowd was absolutely fantastic. I had gone with my dance parter aka John Rey and met up with a whole bunch of people through dancing there so it was a lot of fun. The group of us were there only started to get happening around 1am because then was when the party really started because by that time most of the people were pretty much high/drunk and it got rowdy so that made it even better. Well it would probably be the last time I would party before heading over to Australia.

I am quite worried to be honest about my australian trip now because last night I had recieved a e-mail from Julie to let me know that I would only be able to stay with her till Friday reason being is because she is going to Bangkok to compete and would only be back on Monday so tomorrow I would have to scramble to find time for somewhere for me and Johnrey to stay when Julie is not around. Oh well I better let my mom know and also find accomodation for us when Julie and Andrey is not around.

I am happy though with some of the buys I have had this weekend. I bought some jackets from G-star for myself which I could totally use whilst I am in Australia. It's perfect and stunning for the weather and all. I also picked up some new cd's which I have not gone to collect as of yet so my music collection is getting slightly bigger and such as it is I have a wide collection of music as it is due to my rather big cd collection which i am totally happy about. I am getting into lots of different types of music due to xue the nicest helper in ThatCDShop from Paragon. I've been going back most of the time since I've discovered her and she has introduced me to lots of different types of music which i am totally happy about. 

I had a good chat with my mom last night and it was nice to be able to talk to her since I had not really been speaking to her. We had like about a 30 minute chat before I headed over to Movida and it as good because we caught up since I had not been able to have a proper conversation with her throughout the whole week. I am not to sure what I would do without my mom around when I am over in Australia. I hope when I am there though I will have a good time and at least do some shopping cos it should be slightly cheaper.

Random Thoughts Going Through My Head

This has been one of the longest day of my life so far. I can't believe how slowly is has gone. I did have a eventful kind of day I would have to say. I got some stuff which I much needed to get done done so that I presume is something to be happy about.

I was happy I had managed to get a lot of work done in between all these running of errands which I was totally happy about.

Unfortunately I have developed a even worse ulcer than what I have right now and it is quite uncomfortable. I am not to sure how I had managed to get them but they sure are very uncomfortable however when you put salt on them the sensation I get it's great! I absolutely love the feeling.

I was able to speak to some of my friends thought out the day when i was not to busy. I will miss them though for sure when I am over in Australia. I do not know what I would do stuck in a place without them around or without having had contact with them. I think that I could possibly go loopy. Who knows??

I had a good time getting my hair cut done by a great stylist who goes by the Ann Lin. I met her about 2 - 3 months ago and I love how she cuts and styles my hair even though it is quite short. I have cut it slightly shorter since the last time I had gotten it cut so it's a lot cooler in a way and much easier for me to maintain so I was happy and satisfied with the service I had received.

A few days ago a friend of mine who I worked with just had her last day in one of the companies I had been working with and ever since she has left this particular work place to me it's just not the same. I miss seeing her face every day when I go into work. She was definitely someone very accommodating and also very sweet I really enjoyed having her here but I totally understand that there are other priorities in her life which she must fulfill so I just hope with whatever she does she will enjoy to the fullest. I miss her sooo...

Talking about last days it was another friend of mine's last day who has been working in the same company for the last 20 years since I was four. She has finally been released and free as a bird working for that company she had been attached too. I am sure it is a pretty sad day for her because she had been working in that company for the longest time and like without having her around just won't be the same as well. I think whoever her replacement is should be as efficient or yet even more efficient than her if possible but I doubt that it would be possible in anyway.

As I had mentioned I had gone shopping with John Rey and picked up a really nice jacket from G-star Raw which I totally love and the color of it is totally striking. I am so going to use it when I am in Australia. I managed to pick it up with good prices. Although generally G-star is a rather pricey brand the jackets I had picked were affordable and I had a special discount privilege so I was happy with the purchases.

At about three pm we had lunch at Pizza Hut in Lucky Plaza. Unfortunately for me I have been recently been put on a strict diet which is 1 slice of pizza followed by 2 honey glazed chicken wings and John Rey aka "Mr Gobbles" my personal nickname for him ate everything up. Gosh, I wish I had a metabolism rate like his because he is really skinny unlike myself.]

I am getting quite annoyed with him because a few days ago he had received a package from his wife from the United States and she had put Spam in there which apparently is not possible to get in Singapore. The immigration had to open the package and remove the spam and we had to go through so much trouble by writing a letter, followed by calls and e-mail just so that they could remove it. I wonder why the Singapore immigration has to make such a big deal just to remove a few tins of spam. I mean come on it's just meat.

The more I think of Australia I believe that John Rey and I will definitely have a great time whilst we are in Melbourne before my Mom to meet up. I do not understand why she does keep on changing her mind like she does but in all honestly I am totally happy that she is not going with James. He's just a really strange person or should I put it nicely a strange character to me anyway. I do not understand as to why she puts up with it.

I am at work right now anf the time is going by very slowly. I am not to sure why it is like this but today it seems like time forever is always going by very slowly and it's only 11pm. I know its crazy don't you agree.

I am contemplating in my next blog entry to put images up but I have not figured out whether I would want to since I gave never done so before but I guess I will just have to ask Rex for help for when I put images up.

I will probably head to Newton later for supper "MAYBE"...

Today has been a busy day because I have been running around town running errands and also arranging my flight details and accomodation for Melbourne, Australia where I will be out of Singapore from the 1st of April till the 18th April. I will be spending about 2 weeks in Melbourne itself and then 4 days on the Gold Coast so that should be a nice break before heading back to Singapore.

I hope whilst I am in Melbourne even though it would be JR's first time there I would still have time to catch up with my school friends from St Catherine's as well as that show him around Melbourne as much as possible. Alongside that I would be spending a fair bit of time practicing so hopefully we as a dance couple would improve as much as possible. Oh and not forgetting seeing and spending some time with my relatives and cousins who are both in Melbourne and on the Gold Coast.

~Thought Of The Day~

The weather has been horrid over the last few days. It has been raining rather heavily but surprisingly today was nice. It was like hot, sticky and sunny. Just the type of weather I like it made me feel like I wanted to spend my day on a sunbed on one of the beaches in Sentosa.

P.S.S. I would also like to say thank you very much to all the new friends I've made via Colloquy and I am sure that all of them are nice people and definately a start of something new. Thank you guys for making this a pleasurable experience so far.

It's past mid-week and it's almost lunch time. I've been spending a lot of time this morning whilst doing work getting help from Ting's with the revamp of my blog. She has definitely helped me in more ways then I could ever do myself so I would like to say thank you so very much for her help today. I really appreciate it from the bottom of my heart.

I have been rather busy with work at the mean time working on a event that will be held next Friday whilst I am in Australia for a women's organization. I have got most of the details down for it and the things that will be taking place and such should be all set and prepared I just have to make sure my co-worker will be able to take care of it whilst I am away.

Other than that I've also been planning my 3 week trip to Melbourne, Gold Coast & Sydney. Apparently it turns out I am going to be in Sydney so I hope to meet up with a few mates when I am there. I'm excited to be able to meet up with them because when they were in Singapore last time round I was not able to see them unfortunately. It would definitely be a surprise to see them though I have to say.

I have been spending a fair bit of time talking to a group of people of this random site and I have to say although I do not really know them very well since I just joined it and started to talk to them I have to say they are a nice and friendly bunch of people however you do have to be careful especially on this site whom you choose to speak to you if you know what I mean cos I've been told and warned that some of them are just plain nasty.

I met this really nice girl though on the second day I met her she's been a really nice girl. Her name happens to be Anabelle. Although we've just gotten to know her I sense she's quite a easy going girl and fun to be with and totally outgoing. I mean come on from what I hear she going to Mambo every Wednesday night at zouk. I wish I had stamina like her but unfortunately for me I am stuck at work.

I am not satisfied enough with my dancing right now. Actually, I feel quite shitty about it I mean I know the steps but unfortunately for me though I cannot do the actions and my hand movements correctly so like my dance partner scolded me a few times this afternoon and he had told me I had looked stupid cos of course I was lazy. I do agree with what he says so hopefully I will work on it, watch a lot of you tube videos as well as practice my steps and movements myself from now on so that my dancing as a whole would improve and also so that he would never scold me again.

There are many new couples coming up though I would have to say. I would say that yes they are improving and also getting better I am totally happy for them that they have been training hard with they're respective partners and getting better because I believe the more you train the better you would definitely become. So I would like to wish the up and coming couples the best of luck.

I had just spent a hour watching dance videos hence because it was quiet in Marquez so I hopped onto You Tube and watched Paso Doble routines so I know how I should act and be whilst I am at practice or dancing with John Rey. Well all I can say is that he should be happy that I am doing what he had instructed me to do instead of wasting my time chatting to other people :D

I had come across a really nice Paso Doble routine on You Tube with nice music not like the usual kind of music you would hear. I would have to say it is rather catchy and the routine itself is not so bad at all. It is a show dance by Michael and Beata.

As you can see I have once again changed my blog layout because unfortunately for me I am not able to choose the right blog layout for me so all the things you had done for me Tingz has gone to waste and I am really sorry about that.

Oh dear, one of my gel nails just came loose and so I had to chop the whole thing off. So my friend Pat removed my nail for me with worry cos it did hurt at certain parts when she was clipping away at my nail. I would have taken pictures however the outcome of it when my nails were removed did not look pretty so i quickly covered it with a handyplast as what Pat called it.

I am not to sure if all of you know about Facebook but I am totally addicted to it and it's totally not funny. Hence other for work purposes I had purchased a blackberry. It's like Facebook compatible so I am over the moon about it.

I am currently in the dance hall now waiting for the crowd to start pouring in. So far we have only but in the mean time a girl friend of mine from Melbourne is speaking to me over facebook so that I suppose is keeping me occupied. I hope that if I could we could meet up whilst I am in melbourne. We are just speaking about dancing, work and you know the usual chit chat.

I had this crush that I liked for quite sometime and he just came back to Singapore and like everytime he comes back here I always spend time seeing him even though I should not but this time around since I won't be around for a very long time and he only just came back here I won't be spending much time with him, Another thing it's like totally impossible for me to be with him under our circumstances which is really sad but it is personally a good thing for me.

I just got home and now settling into bed as I write this blog. This has truly been a long day for me with a lot of scolding unfortunately from my dance partner. I did some practice again this evening and unfortunately I

was not dancing my best because for some odd reason I had kept on forgetting my routine for some of my dances which totally pissed off my partner which made him stressed which inturn made me stressed too because I was not quite sure as to why I had forgotten some of my dance steps. To make matters worse when i danced and like the jeans i was wearing today had been well worn and washed a many times. Well when i did a particular dance and had needed my legs to become somewhat flexible my jeans tore and the hole got bigger and bigger each time. I am just glad it did not get too big that I would not be able to dance in.
